Carrier Offers Solutions as Wildfire Smoke Puts Indoor Air at Risk

Date:

INDIANAPOLIS—As wildfire smoke blankets parts of the U.S. and Canada, Carrier is stepping up with a plan to help people breathe easier indoors. The company is highlighting how homeowners and businesses can protect themselves from the tiny, harmful particles in smoke. Their advice includes running HVAC systems with high-efficiency filters, sealing doors and windows, and using portable air purifiers with HEPA filters.

“Even when the air outside is bad, the air inside can be affected, too,” said Nick Arch, Carrier’s Vice President and General Manager of Residential Solutions. “Our technology is designed to help reduce these risks and keep the air safe for families and communities.”

Carrier’s products range from advanced air filters to portable purifiers. The company recently donated over $2.5 million worth of air purifiers to frontline workers and schools in Los Angeles.
